Here at A & R Porter we help you come to a solution for your flooring requirements, guiding you through the options with friendly and professional advice. From our Weybridge showroom we can offer you a wide range of stock samples for you to borrow so you can see the product in the setting of your own home and get a feel for the right colour to suit its surroundings. If there is something specific you are looking for that we have not got available then we are able to order in samples and arrange for you to view these.

Estimates and quotes are carried out by our experienced team at NO OBLIGATION or cost to yourselves. They can answer many of your queries in the home regarding technical and logistical problems you feel you have and will help take the hassle out of choosing and installing a new floor. Our Fitters have 150 years combined experience and are fully certified in all the products they lay. All our products are installed according to the guidelines set out by the manufacturers warranties and guarantees.

Our history
Simon & Mark the current directors have come down through 4 generations of Porters.
A & R Porters is a forward-looking family business founded in 1946 by Robert Snr/Snr & Alice predominately laying wood blocks and vinyl.

With the introduction of fitted carpets, the handover in 1955 to Tony & Robert Snr Porter also brought the need to move to commercial premises in Ashford, and with the success and ever evolving business the need to move into larger Premises’ and warehouse in London Road, Ashford came with the handover to Simon & Robert Porter Jnr in 1971.

Under the current reign of Simon & Mark, A & R Porters expansion extended with a show room in Baker Street, Weybridge in 2005 reflecting their more domestic and customer based service.
